Welcome to the Seabrook Bar & Grill. Over the years in Topeka, bars have come and gone. The Seabrook, AKA The Seabrook Tavern or Specks has been in business for over 50 years. The Seabrook opened in 1957 and was owned and operated by the same family. In 2006, the Seabrook was bought and is now run by a new family.
Upon returning from a tour of duty in Iraq, Rod Moyer, along with his wife Nancy, purchased the Seabrook. Prior to re-opening, there were several changes to the Seabrook. The back room was decorated to honor Washburn University. The entire room was painted blue and Washburn memorabilia adorn all the walls. Perhaps the biggest change to come to the Seabrook was the addition of liquor. Seabrook is now a full service bar that will surely satisfy the tastes of everybody. Seabrook was always known for great food at affordable prices. This tradition continues today. We offer a wide variety of outstanding tasting food. Our burgers and sandwiches are considered some of the best in town and we offer home cut French fries and homemade potato chips. There are those to claim to be a neighborhood bar, but The Seabrook is truly a neighborhood bar and grill. We may not know your name the first time you come in, but it doesn’t take long for us to know you and for you to know us. We offer an atmosphere that invites families to come in for lunch or dinner or a place to come after work to unwind not to mention providing a fun and active night life, if that is what you are seeking. If you have been to the Seabrook, you know what we are talking about. If you haven’t been to the Seabrook, I would like to invite you to stop in and try our food or drink specials.

The Speck Challenge
We invite anybody to take the Speck Challenge. All you have to do is eat the three pound hamburger or cheeseburger along with the mountain of fries in 45 minutes and your meal is free. Throughout the years, many have tried and many have gone down in flames. To date, only two people have accomplished this feat. Stop in and ask for details.
